To offer support to the most fragile people in our society, those currently suffering the illness or those who have lost their loved ones.
The Spanish Red Cross has created this service ("Cruz Roja te Escucha") to provide psychosocial support to all those who, due to their circumstances of illness, loneliness, advanced age, loss of employment, functional diversity, or homelessness, among others, are most affected by the pandemic. Likewise, to relatives and friends of acutely ill patients or victims who died from the disease caused by COVID-19, and to those hospitalized or isolated at home with severe symptoms. Finally, to volunteers and workers of the Red Cross, who are carrying out humanitarian work.
- Psychosocial assistance by telephone.
- Creation and dissemination of covid-19 aid contents: guides, infographics, and documents on covid-19 related topics.
- Psychological care via a team of experts in different circumstances: mourning, crisis, emergencies, vulnerable groups, childhood, adolescence, etc.
